This--still up on the CDC's website--was a thing #scientists accomplished when we (a bipartisan we) supported them and their work. Today, an unvaccinated child in Texas died and @apnews.com reports that vaccine skeptic/HHS secretary RFK Jr. "dismissed the Texas outbreak as 'not unusual.'"

Update: BIRLS.org has now sent 12,400+ #FOIA requests in just the ~63 days since launch. That's ~20% of what the VBA (the relevant sub-agency within the VA) usually gets in a single *year*! And yet the letters *are* going out, and some people are starting to get their C-Files too. Kudos to the VA!

I don’t have any paternal! The only connections I have are on my maternal grandfather’s side- that’s where my ancestors go back to colonial America. Nothing for the lines that came from Europe in the 1850s.

I don’t like the phrasing of this headline. I think it’s more than ok to address this issue without phrasing the headline as if it has to come at the expense of women’s health, which is historically under-researched.
