My parents bought my husband a record player last Christmas (like 2024), but we didn’t really have any space where it would fit and still be usable without rearranging our entertainment center. It took over a year, but I finally made space and filled in our bookshelves a little more 😁

When I worked at Bass Pro Shops, I had these kids ask me if I could help push a taxidermied deer into our 13ft deep waterfall tank. When I figured out who their adult was, and asked him to keep an eye on his kids, he rolled his eyes and let them keep messing with the decor before I even walked away.

I had a coworker who got hit by a car running a red light while he was on the clock. He was out for like 6-9 months because of his injuries, the department van was totaled, and it was a very scary time. Luckily he was actually working so he got workman’s comp for that accident. (1/2)
