The Princess of Wales recently spoke about avoiding alcohol since her cancer diagnosis, bringing much-needed attention to the fact that alcohol is a carcinogen - something only 7% UK adults are aware of. @wcrf.org is calling for mandatory cancer warnings on alcohol labels. bit.ly/4slpIQC

@nestauk.bsky.social's analysis shows the UK’s junk food marketing restrictions risk being ineffective after being watered down by a sweeping brand exemption. This adds urgency to our calls for the UK Gov to strengthen the policy by removing the brand exemption and bringing more products in scope.

Today the UK Government published guidelines for commercial baby food. This is a welcome step, as levels of salt and sugar in these products are far too high and many have misleading claims. But ultimately, we need mandatory guidelines to achieve meaningful change. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
