File under #godforsakensouth, but on a hike yesterday some insect (wasp?) stung my ankle and whatever venom it injected made my immune system go haywire. Large area of swelling around the bite, hot to the touch, heart racing, hurt like hell & it won't go away! Added itching to the mix at 3 AM.
