making these cat toy plushes for a commission is reminding me of the "bathtub dragon" experiment i did that's still unfinished. i made a dragon out of that trendy bamboo fiber "paper towel replacement" material and stuffed it with cut up sponge material, and used more bamboo fiber stuff for details

i'm signing up to some art shows coming up, which is cool cuz i got this piece accepted at a halloween show. there's another show for pieces that are $99 or less, but i noticed they only pay out to artists with paypal or venmo. the two skeevy money companies i don't wanna use (hence my cashapp)

a painting of 3 nebula as seen through swirling water portals, being way too fucking blown out via a blue LED light. this painting is meant to be viewed under blacklight, blue is apparently the wrong wavelength. got blacklights on the way to display this properly

this painting is in a closet and is badly lit due to our apartment being too cramped. it's a painting on it's side of 3 watery portals leading to 3 different nebulas in space. there are bubbles floating around and the portals appear to create a weird hypertorus situation. the whole thing is 42 inches by 17 inches

this piece was originally a shelf we installed over our bed in a shitty '72 winnebago brave RV, since we were looking directly up at this. it took me approximately 6 weeks of work to get this right as i was painting it outdoors in Half Moon Bay, CA using the hood of my '92 chevy s-10 as the easel

it kind of became a performance piece cuz people would come and stare at me while i worked lol

i've worked so many 1 day temp jobs for places like Express Employment, but i guess the shortest "actual job" i had was at that Party City in redwood city, ca. i was there all of 2 1/2 weeks before we had to move down to san jose, and that is waaay too far to drive for a $12/hr job

getting the 2 headed dragon plush ready to ship today, finished the marker art piece going with it. was going to get a photo in sunlight and lol, nope drizzle all day this piece looks a lot richer irl, need a better camera lol

a 2 headed dragon floats/flies on a piece of gold parchment paper, wings spread and facing towards us. they are a bottle green with a light blue underbelly, dark blue fins like manes and on the backs of their legs, wings that are pink on the underside and lime green on top. half of their tail is also lime green, ending in a pink and orange fishlike fin. they have pink eyes, yellow claws and horns, and wear lots of jewelry!

it's a 99 corolla so it's got 14 inch tires usually (i think). i got 175/65 R14 82H off the dead tire in the trunk. i'd take a full size gladly, or a donut that fits for now lol
