I'm going to look on the positives tonight. I thought we played well, the lads clearly wanted it. If not for an odd VAR intervention (where was the clear & obvious error? There was definitely contact), a couple of decent saves and a couple of last ditch tackles, it could have been a different story.

Minor point but there were numerous stoppages in that 5minutes added time but the ref blows the whistle at 50.09 seconds just after we put a free kick into the box and neither team had control of the ball (i.e. it could easily have ended up back in the box and shot on goal in seconds). #LFC

Played well, didn't give arsenal much, made them look pedestrian and frustrated them. They were lucky to end the game with 11 on the pitch, martinelli is a dirty rat and troussard lucky too! We also should have had two penalties. That's the team I want to see. Only downside is Bradley's injury.
