Meanwhile in Russia… “The governor of the Sverdlovsk region promised Russians flying cars.” ru.themoscowtimes.com/2026/09/30/g...
The governor of the Sverdlovsk region promised Russians flying cars.

Flying cars will appear in Russia in the near future, Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler announced at the 100+ TechnoBuild forum in Yekaterinburg. "I think we won't have to wait that long—10-20 years at most—for the option of traveling by air," he said ( as quoted by Interfax). Pasler believes the proliferation of such transportation will allow people to live significantly further from large cities and completely change their perception of distance. At air travel speeds of 200-300 km/h, a 50-150 km trip could take 10-30 minutes, the governor noted.

The foundation for supporting ethnic Germans has been added to the list of undesirable organizations.

The Russian Ministry of Justice has added three foreign NGOs from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Germany to its list of undesirable organizations. The information was published on the ministry's website.

The list of undesirable organizations includes the Ukrainian civic education center "Almenda," founded in Crimea and operating since 2011, and the German Foundation for the Support of Ethnic Germans Abroad (Stiftung Verbundenheit mit den Deutschen im Ausland). Also included on the register is the British association "Friends of Falun Gong Europe," founded to support followers of the Chinese Falun Gong movement (also known as "Falun Dafa"; recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia and banned). This movement's structures were banned in Russia in 2020.
