In the cat.of bad week's....my roommate (recently ex-husband) left w/3 days notice, leaving me with the pets, no car & no family/friends around to help...and I am on SSDI. Now need to fund a car, in order to keep my thrift flip hustle that sustains me, going. Any help is <3 tangledtalesshop.etsy.com

Been a busy weekend as the mail guy can attest…😅😅 but still managed a couple color block scarves with matching head bits. Prepping for gift 🎁 season ! AND I got almost all the new vintage goods loaded to Etsy! 💜🤞🏻💜 tangledtalesshop.etsy.com

Kari has a pile of packages Stack on her patio waiting for pick up. They are boxes of various sizes wrapped for shipment from her online boutique, Tangled Tales

There are two crochet scarves laid out to dry on a rectangle ottoman. One scarf is blocks of bright, pink white and a medium grey. The other scarf is a medium blue, gray, and white blocks. Both scarves have fringe.

Kari is modeling a crocheted ear warmer she made to match the blue gray and white color block scarf. The ear warmer is thin stripes of the same colors. Kari is wearing it with her hair down and wearing reading glasses and a black T-shirt looking not quite so sure what she thinks about life.

There is a hot lane flat on a couch cushion where Kari is working. it shows a pink gray and white crochet beanie

Spent Sun. exploring my fave Salem area thrifty spots! Came home with boxes of goodies! <3 My tiny home might be angry at the mo', but I know it'll soon fly away to new homes. At least that's the hope! ;) Like this sweet miniature pitcher & basin set! #tangledtales #etsy www.etsy.com/listing/4553...

A creamy pale yellow basin bowl (sitting in a plate stand, vertically displayed) is just behind a matching pitcher of the same color. Both feature hand painted fruit details, a pear with purple grapes. The pitcher features a gold gilt handle and the basin bow has a line of gold gilt around its edge. It is hard to tell in the photo, but the pitcher stands just 3 inches tall.

#redwed #coloraday #vintage #estonia This sweet hand bell from Estonia is my current favorite red item in my shop! She has the sweetest sounding brass bell under her hand painted skirt. She's available in my etsy shop <3

A hand painted wooden doll dressed in a red skirt with red cap and a gray apron. She looks to be vintage, because she is! She is displayed in an upright position, facing forward. She has tiny facial features including a wee smile and pink cheeks.

The underside of the wooden doll reveals a patina hued brass bell with clapper intact.

*come up for air* So, I forgot social media existed, again. :) I've had so much going on, but wanted to share that my Etsy Shop is back open, with a huge variety of vintage goods I've been curating, as well as a lovely assortment of crochet goods! Give me a <3? :) tangledtalesshop.etsy.com

The image is a screenshot of Kari's Etsy shop, showing the side bar of different categories of goods available, and then a grid of smaller thumbnails that show the goods offered on page 1 of 4. There is mixture of vintage and antique items like glassware, drip glaze pottery and collectible ceramics, as well as crocheted goods like planter covers and coffee cozies.

I've temporarily forgot social media exists. 💜🫂🙃 Less scroll time, due to AuDHDy 🧠 hyper-focus on hyper-drive.😆 I chose a flat stitch join, ties in w/ detail stitching on 🌞 & ⭐️. I 😍 it! Finished 9 squares by 12 rows in no time. Now to border! Moss? 🤔 #crochet #crochetsky #crochetaway #tangledtales

A wooden crate that has rolls of granny square stripes neatly tucked in it. On the back of the crate, there are some squares already joined. The crochet work is in green red yellow and white and is a motif of sun moon and star squares.

Granny squares joined with a flat stitch join method
The squares are green with white star, red with orange and yellow sun, and white with yellow stars. Joined with the same yellow as sun and star. The work is draped on a basket of squares. Its still being worked on.

Almost join time! 108 grannys waiting for me to decide on which method! 😆 I am leaning towards a zig-zag in the Mustard color, but invisible join with the Cream color is also a contender. 🤔 What's your favorite join method? #grannysquares #crochet #crochetaway #crochetsky #TangledTales

Request Detour: Today’s stop is #ADHDPride by request. I wish I’d written down their name. (Next time I will) I hadn’t known there was a #Pride flag for #ADHD, turns out there are like 4, but this is the all inclusive one. #SylverRoseArt #digitalart #art #mandala

Sometimes I like to limit my palette, and do something different to my usual way of painting. Still fantasy, though, inspired by Tolkien's world. My dragon isn't mean though! The border made from modeling paste thru a stencil to create the "frame". "Valley Of Dreams" acrylic #ArtYear#Painting#Art
