Sadly😞that is the same odd open-mouth smile my mother wore after a major stroke. She thought she was perfectly fine, completely competent, and fully capable. Rehab did help her relearn how to feed herself, but not with decision making. She walked down busy two-lane rural roads with no sidewalks.
