What I desperately miss about MSN Messenger wasn't being 15, or nudges, or screen names or anything, it was the fact that when you weren't online, you couldn't be messaged, and if you didn't want to make yourself known you could Appear Offline. Oh and no Read Receipts. Modern DMs are torture.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. Hopefully this is the last day of extreme heat and tomorrow is back down to simply being just too hot. Nothing happens above about 27 degrees. There's literally a half finished process on every surface of this house where things stopped in their tracks once the air temperature became unbearable.
