Usually, when I'm in a lot of pain, I can tell myself that it's the nerves healing and it'll pass. Here on day 8 without treatment, it's been tough to realize what I'm feeling now is the opposite happening. (I see a doctor tomorrow who may or may not be able to help with this. Wish me luck.)
