Mockup of the Wiktionary entry for "liberal," modified so that the first definition reads "Uncool, specifically uncool in a way that reminds one of one's mother" with the example sentence "You'd never catch me listening to anyone like Joan Baez, that kind of music is so liberal."

It's just that "Christian Dark Ages" chart for the 2020s.
The hilariously-stupid and oft-justly-mocked "THE HOLE LEFT BY THE CHRISTIAN DARK AGES" chart, purporting to display the supposed gap in "scientific advancement" (how is that quantified?) left by the supposed "Christian dark ages" (historiography that is all kinds of wrong)

It's easy to overindex on them because they were more or less successful while forgetting the countless more that weren't, and that leads to an unwarranted confidence that it could work for us in a pattern of thought that's disturbingly reminiscent of survivorship bias.

I had never heard that term before, from context I had a pretty good idea what it meant but I did a search just to confirm and holy shit this is great

Lately I've gone back to a save I started pre-Odyssey so it doesn't have the cool new biomes, but I just discovered it does have this and I'm not sure what to make of that fact:
