Washington, D.C., has a population roughly equivalent to Alaska's. And it has zero senators. If D.C. had senators, the GOP megablil bill would have failed today. Instead, Murkowski got carve-outs and money for Alaska, and then voted to subject DC to the bill

You know why European countries are so quiet about the El Salvador situation? Because they started the normalisation of extraterritorial detention of migrants and asylum seekers, often without any due process. The UK’s Rwanda plan. Italy’s attempted plan with Albania. And some still want to do it.

We noticed some hateful flyers in our neighborhood and they were giving a rage headache every time we saw one. So instead of just being mad, we created new ones. Please feel free to use! This one is: Protect Trans Kids in black and white and in color.
Image description:
A white background with half a box outlined in black with black text that stretches across the top and says, "PROTECT TRANS KIDS!" & "GENDER AFFIRMING CARE:"
Then in two columns of 3 rows, it lists 1-6 that says:
1. Supports & affirms the gender identity of trans youth
2. Consists of a step-by-step process with social changes (e.g., shifts in name, hair pronouns, clothes)
3. Includes possible physical interventions (e.g. hair removal, voice coaching, puberty blockers)
4. Has a regret rate of less than 2%. Compared to a regret rate of 14% for all surgeries.
5. Reduces anxiety, depression & risk of suicide in trans youth.
6. Provides better mental health outcomes when provided to teens versus adults.
At the bottom it says, "Gender Affirming Care Saves Kids' Lives!"Image description:

What Vance is doing here is ENORMOUS disinformation. International students at the undergrad level typically pay full tuition, which subsidizes tuition for American students on financial aid by keeping tuition costs lower. At the grad level, domestic students are harder to recruit!
