In competitive multiplayer, not everyone can be always online. In Feudums, you can setup command queues, give instructions to your semi-autonomous forces, and use reserves to adjust later. And can't spend on advantages. So strategy beats screen time or💰 Open Alpha! #screenshotsaturday #indiedev 🎮

A friend of mine, Enkidu, has been making his prehistoric 4X for years. Fun fact: before Feudums, I explored a similar idea, but the setting wasn't great for the multiplayer social dynamics I wanted. His game however is single-player - and quite fun. If the setting appeals to you, take a look!

In the recent #TurnBasedThursdayFest, players created a great example of emergent, community-driven narrative. One house pulled ahead with a sneaky win condition, so ad-hoc alliances formed to slow them. After ~36 hours of bloodshed, they still secured the win. New game is live! :) #indiedev 🎮

This one’s a personal post. I just learned that Dan Simmons, the renowned sci-fi author, passed away this Friday. 😢 I never quite managed to get into Ilium/Olympos, but he’s firmly in my Hall of Fame for the Hyperion Cantos & The Terror. As Hungarians say: May the earth rest lightly upon him. :(
