I read the Variety article about Neil Gaiman tonight. I’ve been up a while thinking about it. It was great reporting of a terrifying and predatory experience, and I’m thankful for the journalists who continue to advocate for survivors of sexual abuse, despite a society that denies their validity.

When I went to Harding, there was a policy that said women could not speak during the official chapel time. If there was a woman speaker, chapel time was "ended" with a male-led prayer and *then* a woman could give her talk.

I have noticed (not studied, so don’t come at me, bros) that there is a large gender difference in social media use. My woman-centered communities are primarily on Facebook and Tumblr and Discord. Male-dominated spaces tend to be places like X, Threads, and Bluesky.
