It's getting faster to make levels, but I won't make Halloween. I hate stalling projects, but life has picked up a lot recently and I can't juggle Delia's development. I did manage to learn a fair bit of Godot's basics, at least! Hopefully I can come back to this rather soon.

Are you going for pure controller or with mouse controls? I remember Unicorn Overlord did a good job with their information system purely with a controller on the game's encyclopedia, however I think I'd have to boot up the game to get a pic of it as I'm not finding any screenshots.

I'm a queer Taiwanese-American indie game dev currently making Rogue Labyrinth - a roguelite where you deflect projectiles and enemies. There's a lot of characters and narrative, with a story centered on resisting a rich guy making a game out of colonizing a peaceful country. It'll be out this year!

I'm hesitant to really get into it because a lot of it also affects people who left wanting to escape it all, and me saying everything I know and experienced can betray that. There was a LOT wrong with Pixel Sprout's pay, leadership, and values, to a staggering, pretty much comical degree.

This isn't an isolated incident, and I expect no matter how much this blows up, the company has made lots of money, has lots of avid fans, and has already done the hardest part: built the bones of a game off the broken backs of talented, underpaid, uncredited people.

I had the title "Senior Technical Artist" at Pixel Sprout Studios. I animated a lot of assets, as well as made the customization system for clothing and races in Sun Haven. I worked for Pixel Sprout for years and left before 1.0 for many reasons. I am not credited.
