To start note-taking, think of “cell division” Start with one note: “Inbox”. Dump into that until you’re ready to divide into a new note, then another, and another. You’ll eventually have a bunch of folders and notes and your unique way of organizing, and it will look like you planned it.

Authors, remember: if you're on the 70% royalty plan with Amazon, you're being charged about 15¢/MB to deliver your ebooks. I just reduced an ePub file from ~1MB to <250Kb with a few simple measures. Could save me thousands in profits.
