Attended a fantastic kickoff meeting of @indivisible5al.bsky.social tonight. This area has so many great progressive groups who have been acting separately but tonight there were a lot of them in the same space and the vibe was extremely encouraging.

I brought my high school required reading copy of Fahrenheit 451 with me and had him sign it. It’s one of my favorite books and a passage from it is one of the few things I’ve ever seriously considered getting tattooed on my body. Which one? There are many. Perhaps that’s why it hasn’t happened yet.

Once upon a time, I had the opportunity to hear Ray Bradbury speak at a local event. It was fairly close to the end of Bradbury’s life, but he was vibrant as he shared stories and reminded us all to embrace the adventure of storytelling.
