At Ramsgate Film Festival yday I saw adairystory.com & met David Finlay, one of my heroes. I hope cow calf dairies continue to gain market share - remember when organic was seen as a fad that could never be commercial? Well done to @ciwf.org.uk @philip-ciwf.bsky.social for championing the film

I’m searching for the original and/or rights owner of this fabulous picture of Birmingham in the early 1970s. It popped up on my Instagram feed, but I’ve been unable to track it down. Any leads? I’m really hoping to use it in a book. (And would much appreciate a RT please)

Genuinely think this coverage is worthy of formal complaint – and if the BBC doesn’t take it seriously, it should be escalated to Ofcom. The appearance of caving to the Trump White House, when the BBC is being sued, could be disastrous for public trust.

Demolishing 1 Silk Street would waste carbon and damage local character. A retrofit could save both. We’ve objected to the plans, now it’s time to rethink how we treat our existing buildings. Why demolish when we can refurbish? Reuse saves heritage, carbon, & character. 👉 shorturl.at/VjnpU

To appease bankers Reeves says Thames Water should find ‘market-based solution’. Not possible. It is a monopoly, no competition, no choice. Since 1989 TW paid £10.4bn in dividends, £13.68bn interest payments. Rocketing bills, sewage in rivers. We can't afford more of the same. Nationalise water.
