When the NAP was agreed upon by the federal and provincial governments we received it with cautious optimism but had many questions - mostly about the role of civil society, accountability and independent oversight. The 1st report is out and we still have questions www.canada.ca/en/women-gen...

In absolute awe of the strength and resolve of Gisèle Pelicot. Enough with the shame and stigma associated with being a survivor of rape and any form of GBV. Justice is possible, but we need culture change - in the media, in court systems. Let this case be a turning point www.cbc.ca/amp/1.7415595

45 Governments (including Canada) have ratified the ILO Convention on Violence and Harassment. That's a great start, but for workers to truly realize the right to work free from violence and harassment, we need governments, employers and unions to work together to implement the convention. #16Days
A map of the world with 45 countries who have ratified ILO convention 190 shaded in purple. Countries include Canada, Mexico Australia,Fiji, multiple countries in South America and more. #RatifyC190 with the ITUC logo is in one corner, a drawing of a crowd holding signs that say “well done” and “ratify C190” is in the other bottom corner.
