New relief print from Meredith Stern, celebrating the fungi - justseeds.org/product/turk...
Several years ago we took down a large weed tree that had been growing for decades. A large branch had fallen into our neighbors yard after a storm, and there was concern that it might fall onto their house. We took the tree down, and I planted a magnolia and a semi-dwarf peach tree on the outskirts of the large stump that remained.

I went outside to draw the stump, and found a gorgeous turkey tail mushroom growing on the stump. The stump was also home to a lovely clover plant that was growing from a crack, and echinacea that I had planted around it was thriving.

The turkey tail mushroom is a beautiful creature. This one has rings of yellows and browns around it. I decided to create a linoleum print of a close up of the texture. It reminds me of this beautiful creature, that thrives in the woods. It was surprising for me to find it growing in the city in our yard, and I felt joyous that we have been able to create an environment which would support it's growth.

As I carved it, I was listening to the audio book of Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer- which I highly recommend.

This limited edition print honors the beautiful gift of fungi.

Ediiton of 10, signed, and numbered edition.

New Celebrate People's History poster from Yuko Ok, celebrating wartime protestor and detainee Minoru Yasui! justseeds.org/product/mino...
"I felt we had the obligation, as citizens, to tell our government they are wrong! That is the sacred duty of every citizen — because what is done to the least of us can be done to all of us."

On March 28, 1942, Min walked the streets of Portland, to challenge the military curfew targeting ALL persons of Japanese ancestry and leading to the unjust incarceration of 125,000 adults and children. That boldness cost him his freedom, nine months in solitary confinement, and led to his historic United States Supreme Court case. After release from Minidoka, one of ten WWII concentration camps, Min moved to Denver and dedicated his life to uplifting marginalized communities and advocating for Japanese American reparations.

This CPH poster printed at the worker-owned and union-run Community Printers, Santa Cruz, CA.

Inspired by the historic groundbreaking ceremony of the Chicago Torture Justice Memorial, proceeds from this limited edition print supports future community engagement, programming, and mutual aid projects at the memorial site.

Organizing, largely led by the survivors and their family members, made this happen. This permanent public memorial honoring survivors of police torture is the first of its kind in the U.S. It was also the final, unfulfilled promise of the Reparations Ordinance that Chicago’s City Council passed in 2015—which was also the first time survivors of racially-motivated police torture have been given reparations under international law. This memorial doesn’t undo the harm that was done, but it creates a critical space to collectively remember, heal, and learn. Oppression also thrives on forgetting—so the work doesn’t end once the memorial is constructed.

Mapping the Southern Labor Movement, by Labor South and Meg Lemieur! justseeds.org/product/mapp...
This Mapping the Southern Labor Movement poster and zine was created by Labor South: Center for Working Class Studies (www.laborsouth.org) in collaboration with artist Meg Lemieur (https://www.meglemieur.com). Meg carries on the tradition of many activist artists who create collaborative educational and organizing tools as a part of the Beehive Design Collective. To develop this piece, Labor South embarked on a seven-month participatory creative process to learn key Southern labor stories, develop symbolic flora and anthropomorphized fauna to depict the events, and share the work in progress with our larger community at several virtual community updates. We drew from many sources to create our illustration - through conversations, historical archives, and deep reading of texts.

The history of US Southern labor movements has not been taught in schools and is usually unknown, even to those who call the South home. Here we depict five key events that paved the way for subsequent worker organizing in the South: the formation of the Southern Tenant Farmers Union, which started in Arkansas in the 1930s; the Textile Strike of 1934 which spread throughout the Piedmont region of the US South; the formation of the National Domestic Workers Union of America in the 1950s and 1960s in Georgia; the Memphis Sanitation Workers’ Strike in 1968 in Tennessee; and the Justice@Smithfield Campaign in the early 2000s in Eastern North Carolina. This illustration reminds us that workers should be commemorated for their history-making efforts to address economic injustice.

The poster was printed at the original green printer and union shop Barefoot Press, Raleigh, NC, 2026.DetailDetail

This piece was inspired by the powerful words of Indigenous writer and organizer Kelly Hayes in her newsletter, Organizing My Thoughts. I recommend following her and subscribing if you’re not already.

With so much distraction and real harm coming our way under this administration on a daily basis, we have to remember that we also have a daily choice in the kind of person we want to become, not only in this moment, but for the long haul. It’s an ongoing practice, not a one-time event. And whether you’re an artist or not, our everyday practices are creative practices. Having a radical imagination means we don’t accept what’s in front of us. We can be rebellious. We must be, actually.

New postcard from Monica Trinidad! justseeds.org/product/quee...
Emory Douglas often spoke about art’s critical role in creating a visual mythology of power for people who feel powerless. I believe he’s talking about how the stories we tell shape the world we live in, or how we disrupt and capture dominant narratives through cultural change, or even just simply how art can make us feel seen and valued amidst injustice and dehumanization.

But I believe that there is nothing mythical about our world running on queer and trans magic. It’s so deeply factual! Thinking a lot about this lately as a queer woman deeply in love with my trans partner, and my trans friends, and especially on Trans Day of Visibility. To be queer and trans is to emit brilliance and creativity; to summon audacity and authenticity; to conjure spells of safety and community care networks; to invoke protection and new world building.

We will never allow that magic to be silenced or dimmed. In fact, it’s only growing stronger and more potent.

Justice for Lamour Textile Workers
Justice Pour Les Ouvrières et Ouvriers du Textile
55 rue de Louvain Ouest, Montréal

In 2007, Montreal-based garment manufacturer Lamour shuttered its Canadian production activities, laying off nearly 500 employees, many of whom had worked at the company for decades. Workers publicly denounced the abysmal conditions at Lamour, where they were locked inside the factory during the night shift and forced to eat meals at their workstations. Over 2007 and 2008, laid-off workers and community organizers at the Immigrant Workers Centre successfully engaged in a struggle to gain compensation for laid off Lamour employees.

New Celebrate People's History poster from Nicolas Lampert, about the Shannon Airport Plowshares action! justseeds.org/product/shan...
Are ordinary citizens powerless to stop the US-led war machine and the War in Iraq? Not according to two extraordinary acts of resistance by peace activists in Ireland. On January 29, 2003, Mary Kelly, a 51-year-old nurse and mother of four, voiced her objection to Shannon Airport being utilized as a re-fueling station for the US military by smashing the nosecone and fuel lines of a war plane with an axe. Less than a week later, the Pit Stop Ploughshares, five members of the Catholic Workers, snuck into Shannon Airport and attacked a US Navy plane with household tools, causing an estimated $2.5 million in damages. Deirdre Clancy, Nuin Dunlop, Karen Fallon, Ciaron O'Reilly, & Damien Moran were arrested and spent 4 to 11 weeks in Limerick Prison each. They were tried three times and ultimately acquitted. A Dublin jury determined that their actions were reasonable considering that they were acting to save lives in Iraq and in Ireland.

The project of AI is a project of management- the people who own everything want to monopolize all the knowledge that workers have about how to do their jobs; first so they can pay them less and second so that they can then rent that knowledge back to them. That’s what the data centers are for- in addition to all the surveillance footage and biometric data, they are places to warehouse the accumulated knowledge of humanity, everything we’ve discovered about what it means to be alive, so that they can force us to subscribe to it. The best way to fight back against the rich and their stupid ideas is for workers to take back control over the tools they use to make the world, and to then use that control to build the world we want.

This is a collaborative print between myself and legendary illustrator and labor organizer Sam Wallman of Melbourne/Naarm, Australia.

Beautiful screenprint about the future of fire from @toosphexy.bsky.social ! justseeds.org/product/fire...
If you’re an artist in the West, you will eventually make work about fire. This image is made entirely by hand, without the use of computers- I printed the original linocut onto vellum paper and used that to burn the screen, and based the hand-cut rubylith stencil layers on the linocut print. The image is printed with two split fountain gradients, five layers with 9 total colors.

Every year we enter a new and unfamiliar fire regime, and the fires burn more fiercely and strangely through landscapes full of unfamiliar plants and transformed by new economic demands. This print reimagines a rhythmic relationship to fire, the seasonal cycle of growth and transformation that has been the way this continent related to fire until the recent disruptions brought about by an extractive relationship to the land. The bird is a Lewis’ woodpecker, Melanerpes lewis, a beautiful animal I often encounter in burnt forests, hawking insects on the wing.

Beautiful reduction print from Christeen Francis, featuring a quote from Buenaventura Durruti and an image of fireweed. We're having a sale through the end of the month; 29% off with code LEARN justseeds.org/product/in-o...
This print is anchored around a quote by Buenaventura Durruti “We carry a new world here in our hearts, this world is growing this minute”, as well as my love for Fireweed. It’s a plant indigenous to north america that often grows in fields, ditches, and areas that have been cleared by forest fires. So, for me it’s both a beautiful pink flower and also a metaphor for new beginnings after disasters. It felt like a good image to pair with the quote, which has been bouncing around my brain as a reminder that even in, and maybe especially in the worst of times, we can still build a new world together

**This is a 4 color reduction relief print. It has three rainbow rolls/split fountain layers, meaning that every one will be a little different and the colors do vary from print to print.

"Manifesto Triptych" by Josh MacPhee! Experimental risograph posters reimagining concepts from the Communist Manifesto. justseeds.org/product/mani...
I originally began creating a series about the Communist Manifesto back in 2013, as part of the Justseeds' exhibition Uprisings! Images of Labor" in Milwaukee in 2013. The idea behind the exhibition was to create representations of contemporary labor, but I find it increasingly difficult to clearly articulate what labor looks like in the United States in 21st Century. With cell phones, tablets, wifi, work from home, and now AI—with more jobs more precarious than ever—there is an expectation that everyone can and will be willing to work all the time. For more and more people there is no longer clear geographical distinctions between the work place and anywhere else, and less and less temporal distinctions as well.

I recently reprinted this classic print in fresh colors for the late summer of 2026- you can get a fifth off this and everything else in the Justseeds shop with code LEARN at checkout through the end of the month!
The idea for this image came from the murmuration, the flocking behavior that many birds display. In these great assemblies of flying creatures, each individual is maintaining their own position within the mass by constantly reassessing how far they are from each other, and the function of so many individuals flying together serves to provide some protection from predators. There are lessons in biology to be learned by people organizing for a better world, and this is one of the best.

This is a new signed edition of this print with carefully remixed colors, hand-made by me at Flight 64 Studio in Portland, OR in summer of 2026.

New riso print from Josh MacPhee, featuring characters from his ongoing project to catalog cartoon representations of anarchists through history. justseeds.org/product/some...
For over 20 years I've been fascinated with the cartoon anarchist character of the figure with black hat, cape, and bomb. I've always wondered where it came from, and why so many different kinds of anarchists embrace and use it, some ironically, others in seeming seriousness. So I've launched a personal campaign to collect and track all these little anarcho-graphics, hopefully leading up to some sort of zine or publication. But in the meantime, here's my first little graphic exploration, a collection of 19 of these guys (and yup, they are almost always guys...). It's likely hundreds of different artists have drawn these characters, some of the artists included here are Roberto Ambrosoli, Fuchs, Simon Gane, Par, and Donald Rooums.

New colorway of this awesome screenprint from Mary Tremonte! justseeds.org/product/buil...
This screenprint is a new edition of my 2018 print for our Community Supported Art (CSA), which was inspired by working with ARYSE, programming that supports immigrant and refugee students in Pittsburgh. ARYSE programs are planned around four major themes that build on students' natural resiliency and talent including: English language learning, academic preparedness, storytelling through creative expression, and team building through sports. I created this original print after screenprinting with ARYSE's girls art and maker group. A part of previous editions were gifts to donors for ARYSE's fundraising campaign. I made a new edition this Summer in a new colorway while printing with teens, and wanted to share some on Justseeds. Each edition features a different gradient of ink on one of the layers, called a split fountain, or what I like to call a "sweet fade." No two prints are exactly alike.

This image was created when I was transplanting seedlings that I had started as seeds, into the garden. The act of placing small, strong plant babies into the earth is one of the best feelings. We scoop out a small hole in the earth, and place the baby into the earth. We pat the ground around it, and water it in, to allow it to quench it's thirst under the brilliant sun. Working with plants connects us to each other, and to all living things, giving us strength to grow together.

A new bandana design out today on Justseeds! justseeds.org/product/fish...
I go scuba diving and free diving whenever I can, which is never enough. One of my favorite encounters in the underwater realm is the large toruses of silvery jacks and dorados that you sometimes encounter in tropical waters; huge rotating cylinders of fish that, if you can maneuver your way inside them, present as a wall of eyes, inspecting you while turning slowly. This bandana design is made from a rubylith stencil that I made while thinking about those fish.

New riso from Kevin Caplicki with a line from Dylan's "Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" justseeds.org/product/exec...
Made after the killing of Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, during community defense protests that reacted to ICE/Border Patrol occupation of Minneapolis, MN in January 2026.

Inspired by Bob Dylan's anti-nuclear song, A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall, written in 1962 and released on the album Freewheelin' Bob Dylan. The last refrain is what rang in my mind, shortly after these murders by these faceless soldiers of cruelty:

I'll walk to the depths of the deepest black forest
Where the people are many and their hands are all empty
Where the pellets of poison are flooding their waters
Where the home in the valley meets the damp dirty prison
Where the executioner's face is always well-hidden
Where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten
Where black is the color, where none is the number
And I'll tell it and think it and speak it and breathe it
And reflect it from the mountain so all souls can see it
Then I'll stand on the ocean until I start sinkin'
But I'll know my song well before I start singin'
    And it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard, it's a hard
    It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall

New screenprint from Mary Tremonte! This is an image from our ongoing Community Supported Art subscription service- and you can still sign up for this year's package! Find the print here: justseeds.org/product/buil... and the CSA here: justseeds.org/project/csa/
