Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Mini Benteke looking forward to his first game on Saturday (hopefully). 040
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Parish always speaks well and I’m glad Woosie pushed him a little, but I’m not sure he, or a lot of us, really realised what the HF bought to us. Yes, they did push their songs on to us, but it’s a damn sight better than silence. I really think the club should be finding a compromise. 3101
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 22/09/2026It’s only just hit me that 3k tickets to Lyon meant I’d pretty much 100% get a ticket. What are we getting for Salzburg? Half that? Should I start planning something… 110
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 21/09/2026I’m dog shit at this game, but I enjoy it. Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Decent half. Less expansive in attack but a lot of lessons learnt in midfield and defence. 010
Reposted by DarrylCheese Rolls @indigosteph.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Actually, I'll be f'in livid if Sage is sacked. Parish and Hobbs are responsible for wasting money on Johnson, over paying for JSL, messing about McNeil. And piss poor recruitment in replacing Lacroix. On that basis I expect them to step down. Hobbs should already be gone, he's pony. #CPFC 2101
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Just seen that Coventry goal. Munoz doesn’t concede that 12 months ago. Poor bloke is shot. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Comments on Forests posts about their game today. Glasner really can’t break down a low block, and he hasn’t got the credit in the bank he had with us last season. 120
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Spurs might be in genuine trouble you know. They’re just not good. Centre back pairing are as bad as their front line. 100
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Still think Khilali leaves Richards far too exposed down the right. Our biggest weakness tonight. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Whilst this would still be a frustrating 0-0 under Glasner, we do need to address how slow Richards and Ahanor are to cover for Disasi when he gets tight. Which is obviously the way he defends. 110
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I think we win quite comprehensively tonight, put in a battling draw at Elland Road and all the noise stops. Sage will prove to be the real deal once everything clicks. 430
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Timber & Kamada particularly did not deserve to be on the losing team. A shame we capitulated after equalising. Still think Khilali is very much a poor mans Munoz and Mingueza is a far better option. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Khilali can’t defend. Mingueza needs to be our first choice RWB. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 09/09/2026During the World Cup my boys pre school had the kids singing ‘Footballs coming home’, which was cute. This morning I was woken up by him playing with cars whilst singing “Hot Wheels coming home” at 5:40am. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I’m just going to say it… Sage has rotated the team between tonight and Fulham better than Glasner (or Hodgson) ever did. 4110
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 08/09/2026That’s the kind of performance we need to see more of from JSL. 2 good goals, a lovely assist. On another day he gets another two delightful assists. 022
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 08/09/2026First real bit of possession. Lovely drive out of defence by Honest. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 08/09/2026Whilst I’m sure the month still has a few nice warm days in it, I like to pocket my seasons into neat 3 month periods. And Autumn is the fucking worse. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Just seen Devenny scored twice against Charlton today. Stoke fans think they’ve pulled off the signing of the summer. I do wonder if he’s a bit good for that level. 300
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Bit of confidence leading into two home games in a week. Hopefully we can start seeing the Sagemachine in action. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 05/09/2026Comical defending from Fulham for our second. Makes up for how we conceded our second. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 05/09/2026It can’t be right that inherently as a club we can only defend deep. Really need to sort ourselves out against counters. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 03/09/2026I don’t know just how differently we’ll play under Sage but last season we really missed Eze’s 20 yard spanks. It looks like Osorio has that in his locker. That excites me. Let’s hope he’s good enough to be on the pitch to execute them. 210
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Thank fuck that window is closed. Now let’s hope Sarr can put on his big boy pants and play for a January move whilst we bed the new boys in. Think Sosa out Chillwell in is a brilliant bit of business, and I hope Timber impresses as much as his brother. 370
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 01/09/2026If we’re going for Fofana that surely means Sarr is off? Makes no sense to splash out there when the money needs to be spent in midfield. 210
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 31/08/20269th most expensive 30+ year old in history. 2nd most expensive 30+ year old defender. And of those in the top 10 only 2 or 3 of them have been successes. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 31/08/2026Feels like an incredibly highly rated 18 year old centre back on loan for the season is exactly the kind of deal we don’t need. The Ezzalzouli links are fun though. 110

Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Forest bid for Henderson? 😂 That’s gotta be £70m+ to consider at this point! 120
Reposted by DarrylKMc @kmc-cpfc.bsky.social · 29/08/2026First look at ‘sanitised Selhurst’ tonight… the PA, the light shows, the tourists, the flag bearers. It’s all led to this. Selhurst is not a fun place to be at the moment tbh. The football, better than last week. Not worried at all, I can see it clicking under Sage. #cpfc 3142
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Full backs and centre mids very good. JSL, Nketiah & Canvot ok. Disasi promising. We’ll be fine. 030
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Sageball is better on the eye than Glasnerball, but let’s see if it can be as effective. Third goal killed us but we were very good in spells. Next three games are what matters, 5-6 points required. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Pretty underwhelming and winnable home games and some pretty exciting and tricky away games. 100
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Remember yesterday and we were all fawning over an Ecuadorean centre back. We’ll be fine. Sage is top drawer. Deeper squad than ever, and an 11 that can beat anyone. 130
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Dani Munoz wasn’t the same player after his injury and started the season poorly. But I’d still hate to come up against him. Going to that lot would be a bit gutting regardless of the fee. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I assume Marinakis has something to do with the HF thing? Hopefully it’s just the branding that dies and the spirit lives on. 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026£45m for a bloke with 13 PL goals in 90 games makes JSL look a bargain. 100
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 27/08/2026I take it back. Please can we have some more unbearable heat? 000
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 26/08/2026If Sarr is off then Liverpool joining the race can only be a good thing. Liverpool, Saudi & Galatasaray bidding war could see us get something like his value. 020
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 26/08/2026Just seen Celtic are confirmed in the Europa League. Feels as though it’s far stronger than last season. 010
Darryl @juppopovic.bsky.social · 23/08/2026Thought Villa would struggle this season. Didn’t think they’d struggle quite this much. 😳 000
