Pictured is the Changsha-Zuzhou-Xiangtan intercity rail. I didn’t take this one but I took a high speed train to Changsha when they just opened up. Watching the hills of Hunan roll by is one of the most precious memories of my life. One day I’ll see them again.

I watched 开心超人之时空营救 I inhaled a fuck ton of the series as a kid and while I can’t in good conscious recommend the series as a whole to anyone who isn’t a child, this movie clears the low bar of being the best tie in movie for the series. And there are four movies!

Rewatched Savageland! I love horror media in theory, but stuff like Fear and Hunger is at my upper limit for tension. It helps then that Savageland depends largely on its true crime mockumentary format and is also good!

My teachers did their best to brighten things when I was growing up, but I don’t think there’s anything quite as fucked up as the architecture of an American public school. Learning that there’s crossover with school and prison architects was a Moment for me.
