whenever i have a super busy day at work, and competing things to think about outside of work, by the end of the day my adhd brain feels like its on fire JUST from trying to remember everything, and then im fully incapable to doing basic functioning like... eating the banana without zoning out

I’ve seen people use the rape aftermath tag when it’s treated this way. Maybe fits for you? I’ve always found it enough but that said when the tags are heavy, I think the authors note is a great place to add context.

living in the countryside is so funny. waked the baby on my break. we wandered down the road as she napped, and bumped into the elderly neighbour. she gave me homemade jam, and told me that the guy further down the road has been kicked out bc he was having an affair with another women on the road.

My method is "each time you end a day in Stardew, click over and write for ten mins, then do another day." It doesn't matter if it's a lot of word count but it helps me get SOME done on those "blegh all I care about is my virtual farm" days.
