I kept kicking the cats with my restless legs, so I started sleeping further down on the bed so they can be undisturbed above my pillow. Also, I like hanging my feet off the end of the bed anyway. Seems to prevent foot cramps.

Well, there are many reasons not to just quit a job, even if it sucks. For one thing, it's easier to find a new job if you're still employed at the time. Also, if you get fired there's a chance you may qualify for unemployment, which is very unlikely if you get mad and quit.
