Thank you for this peek in. I got my answers and a bit more from this thread. 1) Assignment doesn't get a bin, it's a scramble. 2) Practicing daily to get fixed output helps scramble efficiently. 3) Assignments are more of a gap-filling exercise. 4) Bins: Ideas, Dialogues, Action, Character.

okay, quick refresher then.. you were talking about often having to meet a particular number of pgs/day to meet an assignment deadline .. so my question was around how you manage idea bins with assignments (and looming deadlines) do you have any tools to bin fill? (eg; ai helps me make lists)

@wcmartell.bsky.social curious how fast you fill those bins? (context: tip387, not some kink) 5 pages a day, 6 weeks for a decent first draft, tracks for me for specs, because bins have been filling. When it’s an assignment, do you allow a bin buffer period? How do you manage?

I feel she was a good actress, that chose to aim for stardom but ignored or chose not to listen to what the audience wanted of her. Much like Nawaaz, a victim of self-appointed stardom. It doesn’t hold unless the audience wants you there, which you have to earn with time and luck. 🍀

I have a system, especially with Non-fic. First, I just get through the text as surface and as fast as possible. Second read, I do highlights. Green for facts/statements, yellow for examples, blue for questions/theories. Third read is losing the repetition in highlights, a deeper dive.
