Learned the term “performative reading” exists today. Find it quite ironic conceptually, as well as the fact there is now a term for it, as well as the fact that “influencers” are being maligned for it. Can’t help but if I’ve misunderstood something? Influencer = Actor. Performative = Pretending.

Now that we’re halfway through #DexterOriginalSin it seems like a good time to reflect. Overall the vibe is on point. The plusses of original #Dexter 🔪 feel retained, the music, humour, tone, tension, the VO. Even the story structure. The minus I hope they lose. Last episodes that don’t satisfy.
