Finally, it’s time for my last fic for @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social a huge thanks to @juliasfanart.bsky.social for the amazing art (linked below) and to @loresflora (Ao3) for beta reading. So glad I took on this work as a pinch hitter Fic: archiveofourown.org/works/737252...

A screenshot from Ao3 is superimposed on the picture of a cluttered desk with notes, books and a candle.
It reads:
“Keep the memories of who I was before” by Verity_Wordsworth
Summary:
After arriving just seconds too late to stop Jayce's suicide, Viktor needs to confront his guilt and also to decide his next move regarding Hextech research.
As he delves into Jayce's journals, he grows increasingly enamoured with both the science and the man behind it, and he begins to grieve someone he barely knew.
Meanwhile, strange additions in a mysterious handwriting appear in Viktor's notes. Driven to paranoia by increasingly impossible phenomena, Viktor may be forced to face a supernatural explanation.

You have no idea how proud I am that this is attached to my fic! Or rather that I got to write for this art, given that I was a punch hitter writer. I fell in love since the moment I saw this.

Inside of an elegant Piltovian office, bathed in warm light. Viktor is asleep at the desk, his arms bent over pages and pages of notes, some of them crumpled. A few books about runes and the Arcane are on the desk, alongside Jayce's notebook. Viktor is also holding Jayce's bracelet, which is glowing with an unnatural blue light.

Standing behind Viktor, translucent in an eerie blue light, there's Jayce's "ghost". Invisible to Viktor, he is laying a hand on his shoulder, while with the other he's scribbling some annotations on the margins.

On the background there's a blackboard filled with diagrams and calculations and post-its, similar as the one seen in season 1 act 1. There are also some shelves with more books, some titles are visible: "History of Runeterra", "Chemtech Power sources", "Machine Evolution" (a nod to the original Machine Herald of League). There's also the old Viktor's toy boat.

🌟Image of You🌟 My #jayvikbb2025 fic is here! @jayvikbigbang.bsky.social Beta @t4tvikjayce.bsky.social and artist @badseeds.bsky.social 🫶. 🦋Explicit, Multichapter, WIP 🦋Post canon, Arcane Herald 🦋Slow burn, Character Study 🦋 Cottage, Artist Jayce 🔗https://archiveofourown.org/works/73292956

Image of You by juliasfanart.
Summary:
After being spat out by the rune, Jayce and Viktor need to come to terms with their past, live with the burden of their regrets and the limitations of their own bodies, all this while also juggling with the implications of a relationship that burned all the stages in the wrong order.
Viktor struggles to reconcile his non-human form with his rediscovered emotions, feeling trapped in an inorganic body that is not his own anymore. Meanwhile Jayce finds comfort in the arts, using drawings and paintings as a way to cope with his trauma, but most of all elevating Viktor as his muse. And what better way to show Viktor how worthy of love and devotion he is, if not how he's seen through Jayce's eyes?
Jayce will firstly capture Viktor's beauty on canvas, and then proceed to demonstrate in practice just how devoted he is to his body and soul.
What will follow is a long series of experimentations, finding a way to be intimate in non conventional ways that may satisfy both of them and bind them together as they have never dared before.

Group 16 for Jayvik Big Bang 2025.

Image description: Comic page. Four panels of a sex scene with no text.

First panel: Jayce and Viktor are kissing passionately. Both of them have long hair tied in a ponytail. Jayce has a helix earring and is wearing a green shirt similar to the one in season two. Viktor is wearing a blue asymmetrical shirt. The style is supposed to be more Zaunite than Piltovian. Jayce is cupping Viktor's neck, while Viktor's hand is laid gently around Jayce's throat and stroking his beard. Viktor also has some lighter streaks in his hair like in season 2. They are kissing with tongue, but you can't tell who's tongue that is.

Second panel: Taller shot of the two of them against a counter. They are grinding against each other's groin and panting. Viktor's shirt is open showing his chest and his top surgery scars, and his hair are now loose. Both their pants are open and lose, showing Jayce's ass (with the tattoo of a crystal rune right above) and Viktor's bush. Jayce also has other tattoos on his neck and arm. Both their leg braces are visible, but they're more simpler than their canon counterparts. The apartment is grey and industrial, with tubes and steel plates visible, but there are some yellow flowers on the counter (the same flowers as in the fields of the canon commune).

Third panel: zoom in of Jayce's pussy, his bush and his swollen t-dick. Viktor is penetrating him with his index and middle finger, slick with cum. You can partially see Jayce's green shirt and his open gray pants and belt. Jayce's thighs are sweating.

Fourth and last panel: They have moved to the bed and they are naked. You can only see Jayce's head, with a clear view of his neck tattoo, while he's licking Viktor's pussy. Viktor is visible only from the chest down, clearly showing his scars (both from top surgery and hysterectomy), his belly button and his many moles. His leg is still in a brace and is laid over a cushion. He is grabbing possessively Jayce's head to push him down against his cunt.

a drawing of edwin and charles from the show dead boy detectives. edwin is in a trenchcoat and charles is emerging from under the coat with a magnifying glass similar to the opening credits scene of their skeleton counterparts doing the same. the background has many nods to the show too, example: axe, ghosts, dandelions, crows, mushrooms, snakes, cats, etc.
