Pretty rich to hear former FDA leadership lecture everyone on healthcare challenges when so many rare disease families are still living with the consequences of delay, mixed standards, and missed urgency. DMD patients deserved better then, and still do now.

Powerful reminder that FDA leadership is not abstract for rare disease patients. Families need a commissioner who actually listens to people living with terminal and progressive conditions. www.foxnews.com/opinion/im-2...

losing 30% of the workforce isn’t just “cutting bureaucracy” — that’s a massive loss of expertise and institutional knowledge. rebuilding that kind of public health capacity won’t happen overnight.

It's now extremely hard for Irish people to conceive what a wild tree even looks like, with mostly only domesticated, tamed versions remaining. This rainforest holly gives an idea. Rewilding is how we allow not only wild trees back, but the entire ecosystems of which they're meant to be a part.

Tariffs can protect domestic industries, but they also tend to raise costs for businesses and consumers while increasing the risk of retaliation from trading partners. Whether this is "economic mismanagement" depends on the long-term results, not just the policy itself.

Passkeys can be stored just like password hashes! I'm proposing an interoperable $webauthn$v=1$… format, and a Go API that uses these passkey records for authentication. I'm looking for feedback before proposing this as crypto/passkey for Go 1.28!

Opaque, Interoperable Passkey Records (and a Go API)
Passkey records are an interoperable format for WebAuthn credentials, similar to password hash strings. I propose a potential crypto/passkey Go API based on them.

Mechanical flows absolutely matter in the short term, but they rarely override fundamentals indefinitely. Earnings, cash flow, margins, and valuation still drive returns over longer horizons.

A yellow-headed blackbird prepares to land on last year’s cattails at a nature area in Longmont, Colorado. In this vertical color photograph, the blackbird fills the frame facing the camera, its wings raised behind it, tail fanned wide, and claws extended forward to grasp the reeds below. The background is a sea of softly blurred cattail reeds in warm earth-tone colors. A striking action portrait capturing the precision and agility of the bird in flight.
