Farben? Gruselig!! oder Meine Bilder sind immer zu >

Thank you very much! ❤️ I had s similar setup in 2023 and added some more pieces this time. Symmetry and diamonds are always such satisfying design elements 🔷

I'm spending this weekend tabling at #elbenwaldfestival ☀️ And sharing my space with Keisha who has an enviously good grasp of what makes great stationery and stickers. Check out her work! ✨ www.keisha-anabela.art In two weeks, I'm off to @eurofurence.org - so many conventions this summer!

💐 It was worth it, I think ☺️

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

Thank you! 💐 It took a while to develop the look, but it was worth it.

My first illustrated boardgame has just been announced! I've been working on board games for a few years now, but this is only one with a release so far. Finding the Fadenfroh art style was a very long journey, and we're all proud of the result :)

Well, that's certainly my opinion so it must be true! Thank you 💐

Really, we did? I must admit I don't recall 😅 Luckily, I only have one of these in my possession and I must have ripped out the rubber band in frustration a long while ago.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 13/07/2026

I forgot to show you my table this weekend at #berlinbrettspielcon , whoops. Thank you to all those people who came by to grab some art, discuss work or tell their stories. I find you meet some very interesting people at this event. Plus it's very relaxed and next door to my place 👍

You can leaf through those books this weekend at Berlin Brettspiel Con, I’ll have a table in the Artist Alley. I’m still taking preorders, and the books should be ready to ship in August. I’ve also started work on new chapters, which is very exciting! But still very secret ;)

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

Hard at work preparing the Being Monsters Book 1. I spent the past few weeks fixing translation and visual errors, a never-ending task. And I’ve had lots of test prints and some prototype books made, which really paid off for determining which printer I want to go with.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

I couldn’t choose between the two color ways and eventually let people on Patreon decide.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

The riso print I’m adding to the Being Monsters Book 1 deluxe print edition :) I like the illustration, it fits well with the book's themes. We had to noodle around for a while in the print shop to get the colors and contrasts just right, but the result turned out great!

I mostly wanted to make this book so I didn't have to bring all those little fine art prints to conventions any more. But now that I see them all collected, I really like it as a retrospective. Maybe I can make another one in 10 years time, we'll see. Before that, I have lots of comics to make tho!

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

8 years worth of ink paintings in one little #artbook :> Many of them are printed in their original size, a large part of them have never been printed before at all.

Little unboxing video for my new Tiny Inklings artbooks :) I received them on extremely short notice before Comic Salon Erlangen, so I'm only now opening all the boxes. If you'd like to have one: They're available in my shop (err... catalogue).

Special shout-out to my exhibitor classroom, who really stuck together by the end & showed some great initiative 👏 #comicsalon, I expect you to treat your artist exhibitors better next time. But I also think you heard us loud and clear already. Hope the next event will be a joy for everyone again!

Comic Salon is over, I'm on my way back home. A big thank you to everyone who visited, had nice things to say, bought art, shared tips or just hung out with me 💐 It wasn't an easy event this year, as we artists were sooo hard to find in kubic. But you people were awesome ❤️

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 07/06/2026

I'm at Comic-Salon Erlangen! Tucked away on the 2nd floor of kubic, where only the bravest of visitors venture! Come by and leaf through the beautiful Being Monsters prototypes and the new artbook ✨ D134 🌼 #comicsalon

Thank you! I love it, too 💖 That's the version I always wanted for this book.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

All preordered books will get a little sketch from me :) They are signed of course, and dedicated, if you like.
Deluxe editions get a poster only during the preorder phase. Note: The books in the images are print prototypes, not final copies. Note: I currently do not ship to the USA.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

The printing cost is considerable, so every preorder helps me get through this safely. Becoming an indie publisher is an enormous task and, in this case, an enormous amount of money - so if you'd like to have a book, now is the ideal time to get it.

With so many fresh eyes on my work (hello and welcome 😊👏), I feel obliged to point you to my shop: www.juliabeutling.de/shop/ I still have some fineart prints of this piece left (shop will update tonight) and, from next week on, also an artbook full of ink paintings like it. I also have a webcomic!

Haha, thanks! I usually try to go for myself as the audience in my own work :) Doesn't always make for bestselling artwork, but it keeps me happy and motivated.

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Black unicorn was the second Tiny Inkling I did, and it turned out to be a favourite of many people. It's also special for me, because it got a number of stylisation details just right. It evokes a look and feel I keep trying to get into my work (and don't often succeed).

Julia Beutling @juliabeutling.bsky.social · 29/05/2026

There are many people who tell me that, so I hope they'll like the other version as much as I do :)

😘😘😘 Thank you!! I'm working hard to get it all out in the next few days! 🤞
