Enjoyable 40mins rejigging a #eurorack skiff while listening to the dream pop cello, chorused bass and sliding vocals on Hugo Largo's Mettle, which are about as far as you can get from the sounds I make with my synths.

Have been distracted by idea of buying an overly complex sequencer for the past fortnight. Spent the last 30mins listening to a sawtooth osc > pulsing filter > spring reverb with gentle ramping pitch slide on sawtooth every eight pulses activating spring resonances and I don't want sequencer anymore

Haven't yet started watching The Vampire Lestat, but 40 years ago, after looking for Interview for a couple of years I went into Cardiff one Saturday, and there they both were as Interview had a second edition pressed at the same time. Anyway, these are 36 years old. I keep them out of sunlight.

I flippin love this film and also it really opened my ears up to Ravel. Some years ago the Ravel Trio they're rehearsing in the film featured in the Sonorities festival in Belfast. I hadn't paid much attention to programme and when they started playing it I started feeling all the feels of the film.
