There is HUGE interested in Biodiversity Credits right now (my LinkedIn feed is buzzing). BCs require a generalizable, standardized measure of biodiversity—essentially a ‘unit of nature’. We present a framework for understanding how methodologies do this. royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/...

My least favorite type of comment about a scientific article is the celebratory policy failure type of comment. Intentional or not, this reads like a “gotcha” moment. Instead, we should all be deeply concerned that such a critical carbon-reducing scheme is not working and find ways to fix it.
