Oh god, it’s worse. This is Open Ai dictating to the studios they can “opt out” of OUTPUTS. This isn’t even about the training, as Open Ai thinks it’s all theirs to use for free. The hubris of these thieves is just obscene. I can’t see them not getting sued for this, it’s just that ridiculous.

The new process would mean movie studios and other intellectual property owners would have to explicitly ask OpenAl not to include their copyrighted material in videos

1/8 Fun update on that GenAi Christies show. They lie quite a bit about their own show. Here’s a few: Lie #1 Christies says work on the show comes from data which was trained on participants own inputs in this article below: techcrunch.com/2025/02/08/c... This just isn’t the case.

Recent unsealed internal messages from Facebook expose FB 100% knew they trained their GenAi on stolen works. It also shows how concerned FB is that lawmakers listen to rightholders (creatives, academics, etc) of the works they stole. Never stop calling GenAi what it is: Theft!

I've been a fan of the series since Alan Wake was first announced, and I still remember the day I bought the CE of the original for the Xbox 360 back in 2010 (!). Makes me very happy to see them side by side like this after over 14 years! 🖤
