I remember the slips of paper when i was little. The town drug store wrote down what we took and knew our parents would come pay for it when they could. I remember layaway for everything. I remember my mom switching grocers when one stopped giving credit. No interest. We were all just getting by.

Had a convo On Here that led me to check out land prices in Austin TX: 100k-400k/acre depending on location in the city. Land in Somerville is ~50x that number. That has some pretty darn big implications on housing production and rent/prices.

The state police finally got back to me about my request from March and said "wow, that's a lot of data, we're working on it real hard and maybe next month we'll give you another update." In case anybody wanted a real world example of public records requests for video held by the police.
