“Kavanaugh stops” is a tremendous term term for cops racially profiling people and someone should start a crowdfunding effort to pay a bunch of SEC sorority influencers to popularize it on TikTok. We must fight fire with devastating trending topics slate.com/news-and-pol...

There’s a New Lawsuit Against “Kavanaugh Stops.” It’s Absolutely Devastating.

These detentions, far from the “brief” inconvenience the justice described, are often lengthy, violent, and dangerous.

Can we all agree now that they never gave a shit about the deficit? It was only ever a convenient excuse for keeping as much money as possible in the hands of big corporations and billionaires.

The Republican spending bill is a historic theft that will take from the poor to give to the already-rich. Republicans passed this knowing people will die. They know people will lose their health care. They know children will go hungry. They will own the tragic results. We can't let them forget.

Republicans in Congress have voted to devastate millions of people across our nation — kicking Americans off their health care, shuttering hospitals, eliminating food assistance, and raising costs. This is Project 2025 in action.

Mutual aid agreements among states? What do you think the federal government is?

Also at the briefing, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that FEMA "fundamentally needs to go away as it exists" and that governors were being encouraged to work together to respond to disasters.
"We're building communication and mutual aid agreements among states ... so that they can stand on their own two feet with the federal government coming in in catastrophic circumstances with funding," Noem said.
FEMA is part of the Department of Homeland Security.

When Americans raised concerns about RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine views, he said he was "not gonna take away vaccines from anybody." But now he's taking them away from millions of mommas and babies. Vaccine recommendations should be based on science, not RFK Jr.'s political agenda.
