Realistic boycotting: I analyzed my Amazon usage for the past three months. The amount I've spent is 1/8 what I used to spend. I say this because a drastic reduction of usage is also effective even if one doesn't boycott 100%. Amazon, Tesla, Target, Walmart, etc. The goal is to reduce purchases.

Today I was asked my opinion on why Foucault was so obsessed with the idea of power (especially in a sexuality context). I (very excitedly but very chill-y) got to tell him about 1. the link between BDSM and gay culture, and 2. that at least 1/3 of BDSM is an explicit play (and inversion) of power.

This is not a drill. They’re now proposing a bill in Oklahoma where making, owning or possessing porn means 10 years in jail. Oklahoma Senator Dusty Deevers introduced SB593, bill to criminalize p*rn in the state of Oklahoma. Calling porn an addictive “drug” Per @mikestabile.bsky.social

Excerpt from the bill shows. It reads The bill also prohibits pornography in general, providing for criminal penalties of up to 10 years in prison for production, distribution, or possession. It also provides heightened 10-to-30-year criminal penalties for organized pornography trafficking. "Pornography is both degenerate material and a highly addictive drug," Deevers said. "It ruins marriages, ruins lives, destroys innocence, warps young people's perception of the opposite sex, turns women into objects, turns men into objects, degrades human dignity, and corrodes the moral fabric of society.
