JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 1hJust dropped my phone in dog's water bowl 🙄 Fished it straight out & dried it off with towel, seems to be ok. Any advice what to do? I don't have any rice. No radiators, just a plug in small oil filled radiator. It's grey & cloudy, no sunshine. It's possible water is still in the charging port. 102
JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 4h0715h pre dawn sky. Sunrise, almost exactly due East, getting rapidly & obviously later & further southward every day. 13C this morning but still warm enough (18C) during the day for sandals. JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Beach day! Dogs now allowed on again till next Spring. I didn't think the dog would still be around to go on our local beach again. A lovely warm sunny day, just like being on holiday again. We both paddled, the water was lovely, not cold. 3120

JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 01/10/20261 Oct, how did that happen? I'm going to deliberately breach winter dress order & continue wearing sandals as I cant face the additional brain demands & time cost of having to organise socks (2 prs, without seams) & boots. Luckily it's mild, dry & sun is out today & the beach is open to dogs now. 190

JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Just had email from the online store I get my vape fluid from. The new vape tax will add an extra £2.20 to a bottle of vape fluid (normally costs £1.80). A bottle lasts about 3 days. Vaping will be just as expensive as tobacco. Eliminates a major motivating factor for quitting smoking😡 111
JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Tomoro dogs are allowed on the sandy beach again over the winter, so this might be his last slipway run. He used to do this several times but now once is enough & it's a bit of a struggle. But he still enjoys it. #Staffy #olddog #enjoyinglife 0200

JayEsstoo @js2.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Celebrating a productive few days listing old clothes on Vinted. Over the weekend I've sold 4 items total £46. Admittedly I've spent 4+hrs washing, taking photos, listing, packaging & taking to locker/PO. So its not going to earn a living but it'll pay for some treats I wouldnt have otherwise. 2120
