Yeah it starts slow and then throws the kitchen sink at you! 👀 😅 And the worldbuilding actually goes back millennia 👉🏻👈🏻 I got carried away. The A'dara series is complete and out now.

Indie books are so great because wdym it's a cosy slow build romantasy with a bit of humour, that builds into an epic high-fantasy with new magical lore, a slow burn, yearning love story, mystery, twists, no plotholes and a sci-fi element slipped in with thousands of years of worldbuilding! #booksky

A world under threat, and it all rests on a young woman from Earth, but is she the chosen one or is the prophecy hiding the truth about her fate? Find out in the complete A'dara series. Out now on Amazon and D2D library options. Champion of A'dara Book One and Heart of A'dara Book Two. #booksky

Text reads: welcome to A'dara. A world of dragons, elves and magic that only a human from Earth can save, or can she? Images of Champion of A'dara Book One a woman in a hoodie with fire from her hands stands on a cliff over a fishing village and Heart of A'dara Book Two. A veiled woman holds a ball of light on a hill above a castle, both have dragon silhouettes in the sky.

Just for fun and your knowledge, I'm going to be running a history of queer romance course next year through the Uni of Liverpool. Online and for everyone. I *think* it's the first of it's type in the UK but I could be wrong?

I call your name; a whispered word sails on the breeze. Unheard and broken by the distance it must travel. The silent wave brushes your lips, unheeded. You will never know my final breath was given just for you. #vss365 #sail

Happy book birthday to me! A year ago I released Champion of A'dara and now the series is complete with Heart of A'dara. A portal fantasy with character-driven romance. It builds slowly into an epic and satisfying ending. So lose yourself in another world, full of amazing characters and high stakes.

Long live the artists. I'm not the best artist but tried to sketch a scene from Heart of A'dara. It's messy, but it's real. 💙

Golden dragon sketch with a woman surrounded by blue light lifting herself from the ground and sending the same energy swirls into the dragon.

The teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) is also called Barber’s Brush, Fairy’s Broom and Prickly Beehive. Romans called it “lavacrum Veneris”, or “basin of Venus”, as droplets of water that gather at the leaf joints were said to have medicinal and beautifying qualities. #FolkloreThursday

These are my latest one-of-a-kind raku pieces. No one’s buying right now, and I understand - art isn’t always the priority in difficult times. But I’m still making, and sharing a little beauty feels worthwhile. A like or share might help these pieces find their people. 🙏

A big ask, no pressure & I know people have better things to do but if about 15-20 people buy this from Blackwell's in the next few hours it's likely I'd have the number 1 & 2 books in their chart & that might be enough to finally persuade an American publisher to get my books out over there...

I'm rubbish at character art but I had a go 😅 for one of my favourite moments. #booksky The complete A'dara series is out now. Link in bio.

Caption reads Delphi is not impressed with Dee and picture is a pencil sketch showing an angry woman in a long dress holding a jug. Next to that it says as good as my character art gets.
Text reads - How dare they use me this way! How dare they manipulate me into another world’s conflict! Who the hell do they all think they are? Damn all of them to hell. I am important. I am Dee. I am a powerful woman. And I will return home. She felt strong again, more herself. Yes, she thought, sod them all. It was at this point, when she was feeling empowered, that Delphi emptied the water pitcher over her.
“What the hell!” Soaking wet, she glared at Delphi. “Why did you do that?”
“Seriously?” Delphi looked incredulously at her. “Were you trying to burn your room down, girl, or are you so inept at magic you didn’t even feel the fire you had summoned?”
