Following our @cbc-conference.bsky.social and the keynote by @lewan.uk I just read the Anti-Autocracy Handbook he and his colleagues wrote: research-information.bris.ac.uk/en/publicati... I found it timely and useful and recommend having a look

Kelly also confirms the importance of attribution: for people's opinion on climate it is not relevant whether they objectively suffered from a climate extreme. But their perception matters a lot, in particular whether or not they attribute the event to climate change

Insightful keynote, Special-Psychologe perspective by Kelly Fielding: for society to advance on biodiversity and climate, it is essential that people outside the group of 'usual suspects' speak up - farmers, conservatives, doctors @cbc-conference.bsky.social @unileipzig.bsky.social @ufz.de

Lewandowsky answering the question whether AI models enhance denialism: they don't, instead seem rather effective in turning around opinions. Why? "Because they are infinitely patient" 😃

A useful study of Stephan Lewandowsky and co-author on IPCC Reports: the language over time (in newer reports) gets less confident, more cautious. At the same time, denier's language gets more confident and is increasingly taken up in media and even politician's speeches

Now panel discussion at the @cbc-conference.bsky.social conference on Connections between Biodiversity, Climate and Human Behaviour. Stephan Lewandowsky @lewan.uk cautions against the term polycrisis: "people have an upper limit on what they can worry about" ... "make it specific instead"

An enlightening keynote by @lewan.uk at the @cbc-conference.bsky.social on how climate denialism works - driven by ideology - and how to move forward to overcome it, where attribution science has a role to play.

Histograms of maximum daily insect concentration at 150, 250, 500, and 750 m above ground derived from the three radars.

Since you ask, in the not completely overlapping conclusions with the ones by George Tselioudis - I believe this one, by Ceppi, is a more reliable decomposition. Isolating cloud controlling factors, as Tselioudis et al. did, is notoriously difficult. Clouds are chaotic, and don't obey simple rules.
