Random writing tip: if you're trying to get into the head of your story's antagonist, try writing an "Am I the A hole" reddit post from their perspective, explaining their problems and their plans for solving them. Let their voice and logic come through.

Niko Lauro
This is an excellent method for building character depth. It forces the writer to justify a villain's actions through their own flawed logic. Truly helpful for creating nuanced antagonists.

Fuck ChatGPT flyers. The future is broadsheets.
A crowded broadsheet with way too many fonts. It says:
Forget ChatGPT Flyers
Say it with
Broadsheets
Unlimited fonts
Stretch them
Or cram a really long sentence into one line for no good reason
No whitespace
Mix capital and lowercase
Pointing hands
(They're called manicules!)
Don't be left behind
Broadsheets are the future

For every hot take on how literature is ruined now, in whatever direction you’re angling for, there are enough examples to build a compelling argument for your video essay, because there is simply a whole hell of a lot more literature out there, and it is our responsibility to find what we desire.💙📚

People don’t much talk about this, but the greatest value of reading in your genre is to avoid tripping over obvious tropes already ground to a fine mush—so you can instead engage in conversation with the evolving genre. 🚀 Unfortunately, you must read both deeply and broadly. 🪐📚 #WriteSky #BookSky

It happened again. I woke up at 1am with a flash fiction idea… and it was in second person. Not just as a gimmick. It makes sense! I promise. The story hinges on implicating the reader in the plot, but I am drawn to that very odd POV far more often than is healthy~ #amWriting #WriteSky
