Decided to finish up a Xenoblade 2 NG+ file I started a few years ago when the NS2 edition dropped, and I finally finished it again today. This game has a of rougher edges compared to 1 and 3, but there's an earnestness at its core that connects with me more than the other two

When people talk about how a game has "aged" its usually in a negative context to bash an older game. I think its time we start showing more respect to these foundational experiences that laid the groundwork for the stuff being made now

Direct was just kinda OK imo. Kirby and Metroid look sick but the rest was just ports I dont really care about. I feel like the Swtich 2 is still missing that "big" game, and I think now would have been a good time to at least tease one after the price increase 6/10

Not sure how I feel about the Ocarina of Time Remake tbh. Both visually and gameplay wise it doesn't really scream "Ocarina of Time" to me, its very clearly taking a lot from BOTW which gives me pause. Hopefully it will grow on me but we'll see I guess youtu.be/wuFfiTEr2yc?...

I plugged in my PS3 to play the last few Ratchet and Clank games, and I was instantly hit with a wave of nostalgia. For how cumbersome it can be, I have a soft spot for the PS3 home screen. It has so much character, and I love the little splash screen most games have 😢

Finished The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the first time (via PC port). I liked it a lot! I loved the characters and dungeons, and the world was a ton of fun to explore. I dont know where it ranks agaisnt the others yet, but I really enjoyed my time with it
