#NowReading The Other Bennett Sister... This extract has really got to me... I can't believe that I have never thought about... how in the days before cameras... people who went to the lake district... would draw sketches of what they saw... to show their friends... 📚

'Yes, indeed,' agreed Mary. 'No one returns from the Lakes without an album of sketches to pass around their friends. If ours are too poor to be shown, what are we to do?'

'We might say they were lost on the Keswick road.'

'Stolen by thieves.'

Each color is so clearly demarcated and snug with the others. It looks like one of those puzzles where you have to slide the pieces around to get them all in the right position.

My mom always watched Mash when I was about 7 or 8 and it bored me to death. I can still remember how the final episode went on forever and ever. I was more into Addams Family and…Hogan’s Heroes for some reason.

The “What everyone’s reading” category annoys me every time I see it. Why should I care what “everyone” is reading? If I know you IRL or we interact online, I care what you’re reading. But “everyone?” No, I don’t care what they’re reading. Or supposedly reading. #books #Kindle #Amazon 📚
