Daily mantis. Took me a long time to find her. I’ll continue to be respectful but she’s lost my affection after seeing her chomping on a precious bee yesterday. Scary out in the yard, waiting for a big branch to break and kill me. There’s always something pretty. Darcy Bussell and Pup.

T adopted 4 of my roses today. All in great shape but placement not the best. Love the lushness of my garden but it’s too much work. It was a beautiful fall so cal day, meaning sunny, breezy, too warm but so nice. Tomorrow it’s about moving roses. Praying Mantis still here. Likes to be upside down.💜

Poor baby currently miserable. Again. people think shes ok because she doesn’t run when she’s out in the open and they come in. It’s the opposite. HVAC guy here Thursday, extended conversation, she got surprised in her chair so couldn’t hide, really sick last night and today.

@beachperi.bsky.social She’s 5’3” wearing a small so ordered same. It’s roomy but I think I prefer it that way. Making it a jumper because if it’s chilly enough to wear suede sleeveless seems odd. Had the perfect thin sweater. Same suede as the skirt. You started this by making me buy that bag!

Was looking forward to using pomegranates from my tree as a bowl filler for the winter. AI said I could dry them in the oven. Whole. Then it changed it’s mind, said would create too much moisture, need to pierce and place on a rack in a cool, dark dry place. For 6-8 weeks. Bummed.

Wondered if people medically diagnosed with personality disorders are more likely to get fronto temporal rather than the more familiar types of dementia. Apparently is a research question as well. It’s spider time! Literally hotter than hell but they’re right on schedule, hanging in the air, silk crisscrossing everywhere. This one was suspended a couple of feet above my head from a single strand going from the birch in middle yard to rose at the edge. Lots of bites, lots of Benadryl.

Anyone using duralactin for arthritis pain? She’s really uncomfortable but hesitant to start long term meds with lots of side effects. Caveat to this is if cat doesn’t tolerate dairy, have no idea with her. Will try tiny amounts to start. Reviews on chewy and Amazon rave.

MiraLAX is vital. Ells barfs if she goes too long so husband gives her broths at 5am so she can go back to sleep and have breakfast with me at 7:30. Took us years to figure out how to stop the morning barfing. AI suggested dissolving the miralax in a T of water then mixing in the food.
