Was looking forward to using pomegranates from my tree as a bowl filler for the winter. AI said I could dry them in the oven. Whole. Then it changed it’s mind, said would create too much moisture, need to pierce and place on a rack in a cool, dark dry place. For 6-8 weeks. Bummed.

It’s spider time! Literally hotter than hell but they’re right on schedule, hanging in the air, silk crisscrossing everywhere. This one was suspended a couple of feet above my head from a single strand going from the birch in middle yard to rose at the edge. Lots of bites, lots of Benadryl.

Anyone using duralactin for arthritis pain? She’s really uncomfortable but hesitant to start long term meds with lots of side effects. Caveat to this is if cat doesn’t tolerate dairy, have no idea with her. Will try tiny amounts to start. Reviews on chewy and Amazon rave.

At Nordstrom to return, holding their big bag. A giant woman grabbed it from me, I reached up and grabbed it back. Now that I think about it that must have looked hilarious. 😂 I had 3 things from 3 orders all organized and didn’t want to get messed up. And she was only trying to help.

Guy self checking at WF’s had a sweet little dog in a hammock type thing so his hands were free. I had to meet her-all 6 pounds of her. Asked if he took her to work, said no, worked in entertainment industry, often very long days. Took a look at him. My, was he a pretty pretty man.

I try to be sensitive and aware and I definitely mess up on occasion but please realize when you know someone is extremely limited and their life is small though they make the best of it they aren’t the person you make stand up and smile while you tell them all about your happy healthy life.

Ellie needs yearly and eval for a limp. Our vet saved her life a few years ago, very appreciative, but need someone closer trying one neighbor recommended. She’s gained 2 pounds since we’ve been here, went from a 3 story to a one story. Appt not until next week so I’ll anxiety barf daily until.
