You’ve been seeing very large #bumblebees on the wing for the past while. Why? Okay I’ll tell you why in this quick thread if you promise to #repost as the more people who know that these are queens the more likely that someone will help some out meaning more colonies next year. Deal? 1/15 #bees

If Jonestown is going to teach us anything, let it be how human needs can be weaponized, and how power destroys the possibility of refusal. Remember the victims as people instead of cheap synonyms for being an idiot.

All summer I grumble about what a big weedy looking plant this aster is, and then it blooms. The bees love it.

Please stop overestimating what a democratic Congress can do. The oligarchs are spending money to make you think a Dem Congress can arrest people and hold trials and pass laws without a POTUS signature so that you’ll be disappointed when they don’t do stuff they can’t do. Don’t fall for it.

I’m clearing out the shade garden so we can make a small patio for a chair and table for my morning coffee. That way, I can sit in a little secret spot and look out across my gardens. The shade plants are being moved to my new tree garden. Hostas, coral bells, and brunnera left to move.

It makes so much sense to do this! Why don’t we? Because most politicians are wholly owned subsidiaries of the medical industrial complex. Corporate money in politics is why we can’t have nice things.

I have a question about these crimes that are newly acceptable for FBI candidates. They seem oddly specific. How many candidates are they anticipating will have actually committed them? I think they’re protecting someone who is already there. Probably Patel himself.

A tale of strategy. I have been trying to get a yard sign for my democratic house candidate. His budget is tight, apparently even for signs. Last night my best friend gave me the sign from her yard because her neighborhood has quite a few and mine has none. We do what we have to do.

Twice now at the same on-ramp, I have had people try to cut around me on the right shoulder to beat me onto the ramp. It’s a steep, curved ramp with an abysmally short approach. I am not a slow driver. But each one has tailgated me hard until we get to the ridiculously short merge onto the freeway.
