A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. Interesting little find by Belgian media, that I didn't know before: Cofnas was introduced to hereditarianism by Ralph Holloway. That's the guy responsible for the bad paper (2011) that attacked Stephen j. Gould on his opinion on Morton's skull measurements.

This doesn't square with my experience. I'm a scientist. I was invited to give a science talk by the phil dept. I found everyone to be welcoming and genuinely interested in science. That they don't like what Cofnas has to say indicates that they take the science seriously.1/2

Great information on Heritage and Destiny - those who wrote an obituary for Roger Pearson. They're active in Holocaust denial neo nazi groups, which have split on Russia/Ukraine, with H&D firmly on the Ukrainian's neonazis side.

One more thing about this - one reason it hits as hard as it does because we get to hear directly from a parent about the ways a poor public school sabotages a student's learning and growth. We hear about these schools in ways that dehumanizes children and families, almost never in personal terms.
