With my beloved grandma gone, what remains is her art. She loved painting. She joined a group of like-minded elderly ladies and always took a light-hearted approach to being creative. This is one of her watercolour works that I framed and put up above my couch, yesterday. It adds calm to my sadness.

A framed watercolour painting depicting a window surrounded by autumn coloured wine leaves. The artwork hangs on a red wall with a black couch underneath and other framed artworks partially visible around it.

I'm still buzzing from my weekend in London 🪩💃✨ My bank account is depleted but I regret nothing! Here's just some of my wonderful booty, including scented Halloween candles, fancy jungle socks, excellent books, Frida Kahlo merch, and @tattydevine.bsky.social earrings 😁

Last night, I dreamt that I was having dinner with Lenny Kravitz 😂 WTF brain?!? I have no idea how he suddenly crept into my subconscious but I'm not mad about it 😁

This is the view from my kitchen window tonight ✨🌈🍂 The tree is a great source of pleasure throughout the seasons but autumn makes it look especially magical!

A big overgrown tree with autumn coloured leaves and a pink, purple sky with a hint of a rainbow in the background.

My grandmother, my hero, my best friend, died last night. She was the funniest, most creative, and kindest person in my life. I don't know how to cope 💔

Visited my mum today and brought home this absolute unit of a pumpkin from her garden. Just look at it 😍😍😍

Big yellow pumpkin with greenery placed on a kitchen counter with a block of knives in the background on the right and a bowl of fruits and vegetables in the background on the left.

“Not everybody with a womb has to have a child, like not everybody with vocal cords has to be an opera singer. It’s a choice, and it’s a wonderful choice, but if everybody has to do it, it’s no longer a choice.” Thank you, Gloria 💜

These are the books I read on vacation🏝️ I really enjoyed Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll and Slewfoot by @geraldbrom.bsky.social When it comes to Paul Auster, I admit I've been a fan for many years now. His death really shook me and Siri Hustvedt's account of her grief is immensely touching.

A stack of six books held in front of an ocean view. The books are from bottom to top: Slewfoot by Brom, Ghost Stories by Siri Hustvedt, Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito, Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll, Moon Palace by Paul Auster, and Trust Exercise by Susan Choi.
