It's convenient as all heck. Both in terms of devex (just writing classes) and providing niceties (defaults + docs). This is >>>> more positively impactful than the vast majority of the things other options espouse.

I finally got around to making a shared lib for "is this a valid React (component|hook) name?" utilities: github.com/JoshuaKGoldb... This gets reimplemented a lot in dev tooling code, like linter plugins that operate on React things. Hopefully this should save some folks some time! 📛
