One of the best visual novels. Full stop.

October 4th is Title Theme. I haven't played the remake but the title theme in Assassin's Creed is an all timer. Really fits the pirate aesthetic. youtu.be/UNREuwdJCw0?...

They quoted me in this New Yorker piece about AI today. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...

“Let’s say there’s a world or time line I exist in where A.I. has been subject to regulation. It is ethical. It has no footprint environmentally,” the novelist Jeff VanderMeer, a prominent critic of A.I., told me over the phone. “With those guardrails in place, would I read an A.I. book? All I can say is no. And the reason is, in part, because I want to read something coming from a particular mind.” Using A.I., he said, “feels like a betrayal of the whole point of why you’re a writer.”

Oooofff yeah, I haven't experienced anything to that level. Maybe the closest is the one in Final Fantasy 4 with the instant kill walls.

I'm that person who just grinds on the first floor, uses up all of my potions and what have you. Then just leave to restock and do it again until the enemies are easier. Makes the final boss feel like he wasn't a threat at that point. 😂

Even though I haven't played Astro Bot or own a PS5 for that matter. I couldn't resist getting the Astro Bot GWP in my latest lego purchase.

From left to right: Lego Astro Bot, Lego Wallace and Gromit, and Lego Silver Car and Knuckles Monster Truck Sets with Lego DnD Keychain and Lego Sonic keychain.

Universal child care is the best investment we can make for our families.

The impact of universal, affordable child care for all families would be seismic. It would mean a single mother could go back to school to become a nurse.

It would mean a young family could actually save enough to buy a house. It would mean a couple could start that small business they’d been dreaming of.

I recommend Clock Tower Rewind. Its not a long game and it has multiple endings if you wish to try to see what else will happen. There's also the Zero Escape trilogy. While they aren't horror games, the setting and themes are scary. Another I recommend is Ghost Trick.

Not to get political on main, but I hate... no, I absolutely loathe gambling, I abhor it! I despise this predatory industry, what it does to people, how it targets vulnerable people, and how it worms its way into everything. If I ever got into power, I'd criminalise these companies.

I feel the same way. I feel like if I rush a game, I'm not going to remember much abput my time playing it. If there are games I just finish though, I'm ready to move on to the next game.

Don't use Generative AI. Don't post it ironically, don't interact with it. They took everything from us. Our art, our music, our words, our EVERYTHING, and didn't give us a cent for it. They hurt us in ways we may never fully recover from. They deserve to be sued into oblivion. Maybe even jailed.
