There were already plenty of tools to let non-coders make games before these (gamemaker, unity, unreal, etc). Shit, I *know* non-coders that released games before all this. We didn't need the "lol we took all your data and we'll keep doing it" tools on top of that.

lol wow last time I had a plumbing issue (bathtub shower valve wasn't working properly) I was quoted like $1500 to solve it. I fixed it myself with a $10 part and a $20 tool instead.

Oh yeah this sounds fine! Would it be possible to skin this as less of a *pointer* and more of a *reticle*? That might make it easier for people to vibe with ("it's totally not a cursor I promise <_<")

I think it could work but only if tuned *very* well - driving cursors with joysticks is almost always more frustrating than using a mouse due to the inherent lack of precision in the movement. But if you can find a way around that, it's probably fine - especially if it better matches the concept
